Teaching Children Personal Safety: Tips and Strategies

 Many parents worry about the safety of their children, whether on the way to or from school, in the park, or anywhere else where constant adult supervision is lacking. One of the biggest concerns for parents is teaching their children how to be properly wary of strangers when out in public places. Yet the possibility of harm to children from unknown people, usually called “stranger danger,” can sometimes be overstated.

To facilitate achieving the objectives of the Erasmus Plus partnership, the teachers of Pisicile Aristocrate / Aristocats Kindergarten from Bucharest encourage  parents involvement  in educational activities for our preschoolers.  One of the parents who is actively involved is Crina B.  Through these activities adapted to their age, the children learn about our European partener countries from the From Teacher To Teacher Project.  This partnership aims at stimulating the parents’ interest in a sustainable cooperation with the kindergarten to the benefit of the children.  The educational methods and procedures used in the extracurricular activities will support the children in using the acquired knowledge and in improving their abilitities to solve common problems and tasks. Erasmus+ Grădinița Pisicile Aristocrate

Grădinița Pisicile Aristocrate participă în acest an școlar la primul proiect de parteneriat strategic Erasmus+ “ From Teacher to Teacher ”, în calitate de partener, alături de alte 6 unități școlare din 4 state ale Uniunii Europene (Portugalia, Bulgaria, Estonia, Lituania). Inițiatorul proiectului, Grădinița Floare Albastră din București, fiind partenerul nostru în multe alte proiecte și activități. În săptămâna 30 octombrie – 3 noiembrie 2017 a avut loc prima întâlnire transnațională din cadrul acestui proiect, gazde fiind atât unitatea coordonatoare - Grădinița Floare Albastră, cât și Grădinița Pisicile Aristocrate. Pe lângă activitățile de management al proiectului, prezentarea planului de implementare a proiectului (obiective, activități, resurse, responsabili, rezultate așteptate, perioadă și indicatori de realizare), elaborat de coordonator, cele două unități școlare au prezentat partenerilor programe artistice și au susținut activități prin care s-a urmărit f...
